At the NBU-promoted Conference "NSMEP: New technologies to implement governement and corporate programs" held 23 October 2008, Megabank repersentative was given NSMEP Certificat No.1. This Certificate confirms that Megabank is a certified and licensed member of the NSMEP payment system to operate as an issuer and acquirer under the NSMEP brand name.

In 2000 Megabank was the first bank to join the pilot project. It was the first issuer of NSMEP cards and installed the first NSMEP ATM. As of 1.11.2008 Megabank issued 184 thousand NSMEP cards. Now it covers 96 ATMs and 296 POSs.
